Does Otter Creek have leagues?
A: Otter Creek Golf Course has golf leagues on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings. Open play is still available on most nights except for Tuesday and Thursday. Please call 515-965-6464 to schedule a tee time.
Does Otter Creek offer golf lessons?
A: Yes. Otter Creek’s golf lessons are taught by Tom Tays, PGA Professional. Please contact Tom at 515-480-0094 to schedule a lesson.
What are the hours of operation for Otter Creek Golf Course?
A: Otter Creek Golf Course is open seven days a week. During the spring and fall the course opens at 7 a.m. In the summer, we open at 6:30 a.m. The course closes at sundown during the golf season.
How old is the golf course?
A: The facility was originally opened in 1982. The renovated Otter Creek opened June, 2009.
Can two players share clubs?
A: Every golfer at Otter Creek will need to have their own set of clubs. Sharing of clubs is not permitted. High quality rental clubs are available for rent at the golf shop.
What are the cart policies at Otter Creek?
A: You must be 18 years old and have a valid drivers license to rent a riding cart at Otter Creek. No more that 2 riders and 2 bags of clubs are permitted on a cart at one time. For your safety, please keep both hands and feet inside the cart at all times.
Can I bring my own cart on to the golf course?
A: No. Otter Creek does not allow outside carts to be brought on to the course. Our carts are protected from entering certain areas such as neighboring yards, and we can’t allow carts without those restrictions on our property.
What is your tee time cancellation policy?
A: To cancel a tee time reservation, please call at least 24 hours in advance. This will give others an opportunity to book that time.

Do you have a Range Pass?
A: You can buy small baskets of range balls in bulk. 50 smalls for $225, 100 smalls for $400, or our best deal, 200 smalls for $700.
What are the hours of the practice range?
A: The practice range is open Monday through Sunday at sunrise, except Wednesday mornings the range is closed until noon for maintenance. The practice range closes at sundown.
Are groups of five allowed at the golf course?
A: We don’t allow groups of five.
Is alcohol allowed on the golf course?
A: Patrons will be able to purchase alcohol beverages both from the bar and beverage carts on the course. Individuals are not allowed to bring beverages on the course from an outside source due to Iowa State law.
What kind of amenities does Otter Creek offer?
A: Otter Creek houses a double-ended driving range and practice facility, fully stocked pro shop, conference/outing/wedding rooms available for rent, an outdoor patio for wedding ceremonies, and the Tin Cup Bar and Grille.
Does Otter Creek have rental clubs?
A: Yes. Club rental for 18 holes is $25 and $15 for 9 holes. Patrons must leave a drivers’ license or credit card to rent our clubs.
What is the dress code for Otter Creek?
A: We expect both men and women to wear appropriate golf attire. We suggest casual pants, walking-length shorts, shirts with collars or mock neck shirts. Otter Creek is a soft spike only facility. Metal spikes of any kind are prohibited.
How old do you need to be to be considered a senior?
A: Otter Creek Golf Course offers senior rates to patrons 55 years and older.

How soon can I call for a tee time?
A: Tee times are booked one week in advance.
